Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 track. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation, while collaborating with RNs, LVN/LPNs and technicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Must meet practice requirements in the state of employment.
• Entry level for RNs with <2 years Nephrology Nursing experience.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Document patient data and adjust treatment plans as needed in the medical record.
• Educate patients and families about learning needs and treatment options.
• Deliver safe hemodialysis therapy in collaboration with the care team.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness.
• Support emergency responses and participate in staff training.
