Job summary

Qualifications

• RN licensure in applicable state required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience in nephrology or hemodialysis preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Document patient data and adjust treatment plans in the medical record.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and treatment options.
• Deliver safe hemodialysis therapy in collaboration with the health care team.
• Administer medications per prescribed algorithms and monitor effectiveness.
• Participate in staff training, orientation, and quality improvement activities.
