Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team. This role supports CT and radiographic exams, ensures patient safety, and adheres to department procedures to deliver high-quality diagnostic studies.

You will verify orders, prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, and maintain readiness while collaborating with radiologists and staff to optimize patient care.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT licenses
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience

Responsibilities

• Verifies clinician orders and patient identity.
• Preps and positions patients for exams.
• Performs CT and radiographic procedures with independent judgment.
• Maintains equipment readiness and cleanliness.
• Responds to emergencies and supports life safety equipment.
• Documents procedures and communicates with patients clearly.
