Job summary

Wellstar in the United States seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT and radiographic exams, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. You will work with radiologists and technologists to set up equipment, position patients, and obtain diagnostic studies per department procedures.

The role requires solid knowledge of anatomy, radiation safety, and excellent communication to explain procedures and ease patient anxiety.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Radiography certification recognized.
• ARRT Computed Tomography certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience; CT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a wide range of CT and radiographic exams using appropriate equipment.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort and follow AIDET when communicating with patients and families.
• Verify orders, prepare patients, and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.
• Restock supplies and support department operations to maintain workflow.
