Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with CT imaging expertise to perform diagnostic exams and provide high-quality patient care. The role requires ARRT radiography and CT certifications, BLS, and at least one year of radiology experience.

You will operate CT and radiographic equipment, ensure accurate patient identification, and maintain safety and quality standards across procedures. Responsibilities include image quality reviews, PACS uploads, workflow coordination, and collaboration

Qualifications

• ARRT radiography and CT certifications required
• BLS or ARC-BLS required
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience; CT preferred

Responsibilities

• Verifies clinician orders and patient identity; ensures proper procedure prep.
• Loads and operates imaging equipment; positions patient for CT or radiographic exams.
• Maintains sterile technique and patient privacy; explains procedures using AIDET principles.
• Reviews images for quality; communicates findings and ensures timely PACS delivery.
• Assists with department logistics, supplies, and call coverage.
• Keeps supervisor informed of responsibilities and maintains productivity standards
