Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Surprise in Arizona is seeking a full-time Outpatient Coordinator (OP) to manage referrals and coordinate all outpatient services.

You will serve as the lead support person for hospital-based or freestanding outpatient clinics, help schedule and oversee clerical staff, and advise management on staffing and performance. A high school diploma is required with medical terminology knowledge.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Business or Technical School training preferred.
• Strong medical terminology is required.

Outpatient Coordinator (OP)

The Outpatient Coordinator (OP) maintains referral management and coordinate all outpatient services. Serves as lead support person for the hospital-based and/or freestanding outpatient clinic. Makes recommendations to management regarding scheduling, hiring and performance management of clerical staff, where applicable.

• Education and Training: A High School diploma or equivalent is required. Business or Technical School training is preferred. Strong medical terminology is required.
• Experience: More than one (1) year experience in a medical office position or in a healthcare registration function.
