Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of South Point in Ohio is opening an inpatient admissions office to handle referrals, intake, verification, pre-certification and admissions processes for a full-time, on-site role. The incumbent provides support to the Admissions Manager and performs related admissions duties as needed.

The position requires at least a year of experience in a medical office or healthcare registration setting, plus familiarity with medical terminology and insurance verification

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical terminology knowledge is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office or healthcare registration.

Performs other related duties as assigned.Education and Training: A High School diploma or equivalent is required. Business or Technical School is preferred. Medical terminology and knowledge of process of insurance verification is required.Experience: At least one (1) year experience in a medical office position or in a healthcare registration function.
