Job summary

Mental Health Services for Clark & Madison Counties in Springfield, OH is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide administrative and clinical support in our outpatient Primary Care program across Clark and Madison Counties. The CMA will manage patient flow, prepare pre-visit data, and coordinate scheduling and paperwork for both adult and youth patients.

This full-time position is Monday-Friday, first shift, with no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience and/or certification required.
• Previous experience in medical office, billing and EHR preferred.
• 1 year of experience in mental or behavioral health preferred.
• Valid OH Driver's License and able to be covered on MHS insurance liability policy (Clean driving record).

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clinical support for the primary care clinics.
• Manage the flow of patients through the clinic and coordinate paperwork and scheduling.
• Prepare pre-visit data and paperwork for patients.
• This role may work with both adult and youth populations.
