Job summary

American Addiction Centers is seeking a Clinical Manager to oversee the daily management of the Outpatient treatment program, its patients, and staff. The role functions as a liaison between the Inpatient Clinical Director and clinical team, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with AAC standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited university.
• RI State Licensed (LMHC or LICSW).
• Three years of experience in addiction recovery environment preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations of the program in relation to clinical programming, staff schedules, case management, admissions, discharges, therapy and provision of ancillary services.
• Ensures staff caseloads are adequately managed and clients are seen timely.
• Assures all clinical programming occurs timely and according to program schedule by appropriate staff.
• Monitors/assures that all clinical treatment meets AAC standards of excellence.
• Provide clinical support for staff such as: de-escalation with patients, consultation regarding clinical issues.
• Demonstrates the ability to maintain positive interrelationships with multidisciplinary team members, family members and other resources.
• Participates in job interviews for Counselor & support staff positions.
• Coordinate internships and train staff on program policies and procedures.
• Provide behavioral health therapy/consults.
