Intermountain Health St. Mary's Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, is launching a new outpatient pharmacy and hiring an Outpatient Clinical Pharmacist to help shape workflows and patient care standards.

You will partner with the Pharmacy Manager, pharmacists, and technicians to deliver safe, seamless care and build a high-performing team. The role emphasizes collaboration, adaptability, and driving improvements in a growing outpatient service, with a focus on meaningful patient

Qualifications

Doctor of Pharmacy or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited program.
Current license to practice and dispense controlled substances.
Knowledge of state & federal pharmacy regulations.
Strong communication, people management and project skills.
Immunization certification if applicable to site needs.

Responsibilities

Reviews patients' medication orders for safety, efficacy and interactions; intervenes to optimize therapy.
Oversees preparation and delivery of medications to care areas; ensures secure storage and workflow.
Counsels patients and provides medication education to promote adherence.
Supervises interns, technicians, and staff; provides clinical consultations to health professionals.
Proactively solves problems related to equipment, maintenance, drug availability or staffing.
Identifies process improvements to enhance patient satisfaction and safety; participates in department meetings.
