Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking a Clinic Registered Nurse to deliver safe, effective outpatient care. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, coordinate with the care team, educate patients and families, and ensure accurate EMR documentation.

Schedule: Full time, 40 hours, office hours 8:00a-5:00p, No weekends or holidays. Must be licensed in Iowa, with BLS within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa is required.
• BLS certification is required within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (Windows, email, MS Office).
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient patient care following nursing processes (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Coordinate care with other clinical staff and education for patients and families.
• Maintain documentation accuracy in EMR and ensure clear communication across healthcare teams.
• Assist with scheduling, admissions, referrals, and outpatient procedures.
• Maintain safety, adherence to policies, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
