Job summary

MercyOne Clinton Medical Center, part of Trinity Health, is hiring a Clinic RN for outpatient care. The RN provides patient care, coordinates with care teams, administers meds, and educates patients. EMR documentation is required.

Schedule is full-time, day shift, Mon-Fri, no weekends or holidays. Active Iowa RN license and BLS within 3 months of hire are required; strong computer and communication skills are essential to support high-quality patient care in a Catholic, not-for-profit health

Qualifications

• Must be a licensedRegistered Nurse in Iowa.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient with computer systems and EMR software.
• Able to read/write English effectively for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient patient care using nursing processes.
• Coordinate care with physicians and ancillary staff.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation of assessments and treatments.
• Participate in quality improvement and team meetings.
