Job summary

MercyOne Genesis Medical Group, part of Trinity Health, is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide outpatient patient care. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, coordinate with the clinical team, educate patients and families, and ensure safe, evidence-based nursing practice.

The role requires Iowa RN licensure, BLS within 3 months, and strong computer and communication skills. You will work days, 40 hours per week, and participate in quality and safety initiatives while upholding

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa; compact state licenses may be accepted.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English with patients.
• Proficient computer skills (Windows, email, MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient patient care and coordinate with clinical staff.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document them in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families on treatments, tests, and discharge plans.
• Participate in staff meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
