Job summary

MercyOne Centerville Medical Clinic is seeking a Clinic RN to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care in an outpatient setting. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while coordinating with clinicians, educating patients, and ensuring clear communication across care teams.

The role requires an active Iowa RN license (or compact license where applicable), BLS within 3 months, and strong computer/EMR skills.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa or compact license where applicable.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient computer skills (Windows, email, MS Office).
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient patient care using nursing processes (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Coordinate care with other clinical staff and support patient/family education.
• Maintain documentation accuracy in EMR and manage orders, labs, and procedures.
• Communicate with physicians, staff, patients, and families regarding care plans.
