Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions seeks a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for an outpatient clinic in Potomac, MD. This contract role offers 32–40 hours weekly, on-site work, and potential for permanent hire based on performance.

You will perform patient assessments, administer medications, manage documentation, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support positive outcomes. Requires active LPN/LVN license, BLS, and EMR experience, with Epic EMR preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN or LVN in good standing.
• Active BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year healthcare experience in outpatient settings.
• Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic preferred).
• Phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing experience.
• Strong communication and ability to work in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral, injectable, IV, and topical medications.
• Perform routine patient assessments and monitor vitals.
• Document medical history and medications in the EMR.
• Conduct phlebotomy and vaccine administration as needed.
• Provide patient education on self-care and disease management.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality care.
• Maintain clinic cleanliness and proper inventory of supplies.
