H2 Health is seeking a Patient Coordinator for our outpatient clinic in Rural Retreat, VA. You will be the first point of contact for patients, delivering exceptional service and ensuring smooth clinic operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating appointments, verifying insurance, handling referrals, maintaining records, assisting at the front desk, and collaborating with clinicians to improve patient experience in a welcoming, organized environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare administration education is a plus.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare or medical office setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and basic computer skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Proficient in using office software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient appointments, verify insurance, and handle referrals.
• Maintain and update patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist with front desk operations, answering phone calls, and managing inquiries.
