Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking an Echo Lab Technologist for the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia. You will perform M-Mode, 2-D, Doppler and color flow echocardiography in inpatient and outpatient areas, assisting physicians with transesophageal studies and stress echocardiograms.

H.S. Diploma or GED is required; RDCS/RCS certification is expected or registry-eligible within one year. This role supports the Cardiac Ultrasound team within a leading academic medical center.

Qualifications

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) required or registry-eligible within one year.
• HS Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly skilled, non-invasive tests to diagnose cardiological abnormalities including M-Mode, 2-D, Doppler echocardiogram and color flow Doppler in various clinical settings.
• Assist physicians with transesophageal echocardiograms and exercise/pharmacologic stress tests.
• Coordinate echo laboratory operations, prepare patients, and maintain records and equipment.
