Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a skilled echocardiography technologist to join our expanding cardiology team. Under the supervision of the Lead Cardiac Sonographer and Clinical Manager, you will perform comprehensive noninvasive heart imaging and ensure adherence to department standards.

You will conduct M‑mode, 2D, spectral and color Doppler studies, including stress echocardiograms, and document findings accurately to support cardiologist diagnosis.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or accredited echocardiography program; registry eligibility.
• ARDMS/RDCS or CCI/RCS accreditation eligible and BLS certification.
• Minimum of one year of echocardiography experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; knowledge of cardiac anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography procedures including M‑mode, 2D, spectral and color Doppler.
• Conduct diagnostic exercise/pharmacological stress echocardiograms.
• Maintain safe testing environment and proper documentation.
• Communicate findings effectively to promote teamwork.
• Adhere to department policies and regulatory requirements.
