Valley Health is seeking an Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinical Therapist I to provide individual, group and family therapy with a goal‑directed treatment focus. The role supports crisis and routine care, manages a caseload, and collaborates within a multidisciplinary team in our Louisiana outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Masters in Social Work or Counseling, is a supervisee or resident preparing for licensure within six months, and has current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Masters in Social Work or Counseling required.
• License: supervisee in social work or resident in counseling; licensure within six months.
• BLS certification required before orientation.
• Experience with the identified population preferred.

Responsabilités

• Initiates discharge planning for assigned patients.
• Completes psychosocial assessments, ISP, progress notes and discharge plans by midnight.
• Maintains daily availability for crisis and routine support.
• Manages caseload with case management, care coordination and treatment planning.
• Obtains insurance authorizations, performs chart audits and handles forms.
• Participates in supervision and meetings as directed.
