Job summary

Oceans Healthcare, L.L.C. and Norman Regional Health System have partnered to open a new behavioral hospital in south central Oklahoma.

The Director, Outpatient Services will lead the outpatient programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with the DON and inpatient director to align staffing and clinical programming. The role includes supervising staff, driving education, and steering performance improvement to meet Joint Commission and state standards while supporting program growth

Qualifications

• Experience leading outpatient services and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to ensure programs meet Joint Commission, Federal and State regulations.
• Proven track record in staff education and development.
• Experience with discharge planning and treatment planning in outpatient settings.
• Strong governance, budget oversight and performance improvement focus.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction, supervision, monitoring and disciplinary action for all staff of the Outpatient Program.
• Cooperates with management to develop and revise clinical programming proposals.
• Provides, coordinates and monitors staff continuing education and training.
• Supervises utilization review and performance improvement in outpatient settings.
• Ensures compliance with age/disability/cultural sensitivity and diversity requirements.
• Conducts treatment planning, discharge planning and facilitates support groups.
• Works with facility administration to meet financial goals and maintain governance structures.
• Communicates facility performance to stakeholders in writing and verbally.
