Schedule: Part-Time Days

This position is in our Intensive Outpatient Program, located on campus in a separate building.

The hours for this position are:

• Monday: 4 pm - 9 pm (5 hours)
• Wednesday: 3 pm - 9 pm (6 hours)
• Thursday: 4 pm - 9 pm (5 hours)

The role you’ll contribute:

• Assess and process patient admissions to the program, including interviewing patients, gathering medication history and compliance, and providing patient education.
• Organize patients to go to lab for urine drug screens for addiction patients.
• Collaborate with therapists on the patient’s plan of care.
• Notify providers when needed.
• Assess patients in crisis and arrange for admission to the inpatient unit if necessary.
• Provide patient education regarding the program, psychotropic medications, etc.

Qualifications

The expertise and experience you’ll need to succeed:

• Kansas Registered Nurse License
• BCLS certification obtained through the American Heart Association
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or obtained within 4 years of employment
