Schedule: Part-Time Days

This position is in our Intensive Outpatient Program, which is on campus but in a separate building.

Hours of Work:

• Monday: 4 pm - 9 pm (5 hours)
• Wednesday: 3 pm - 9 pm (6 hours)
• Thursday: 4 pm - 9 pm (5 hours)

No weekends.

The Role You’ll Contribute

• Assess and process patient admissions, including interviewing patients, gathering medication history and compliance, and patient education.
• Organize patients for lab tests such as urine drug screens for addiction patients.
• Collaborate with therapists on the patient’s plan of care.
• Notify providers when needed.
• Assess patients in crisis and arrange for admission to the inpatient unit if necessary.
• Provide patient education regarding the program, psychotropic medications, etc.

Qualifications

• Kansas Registered Nurse License
• BCLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or obtained within 4 years of employment
