Job summary

NorthKey Community Care in Covington, KY is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Nurse RN to support outpatient behavioral health services. The role will involve assisting physicians in medication management, developing care plans based on assessments, and coordinating care across our Madison location and Florence/Newport offices.

Work hours are typically Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no weekends, evenings, or holidays.

Qualifications

Licensed by the Kentucky nursing board based on appropriate nursing education, training, and experience.
Relevant knowledge, training, and experience.

Responsibilities

Assist physicians and NPs in medication management and care planning.
Support hospital discharge clinics for medication assessments and prescribing as indicated.
Conduct routine screenings for need of additional therapeutic and physical health services.
Provide consultation to staff as indicated.
Complete quality documentation including service plans and progress notes to ensure compliance.
Ensure patients are seen before providing medication refills and monitor changes in mental status.
Collaborate with staff to promote quality patient care and participate in interdisciplinary communications.
Handle medication orders following policies and state regulations.
