Job summary

NorthKey Community Care in Kentucky is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide medication management and behavioral health services for children, adolescents, and adults with SMI, SED, and substance use diagnoses. The position is primarily based at outpatient offices in Florence and Covington, with a flex schedule and no evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing from an accredited school.
• Current PMHNP license in Kentucky or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Experience in behavioral health field.

Responsibilities

• Provides medication management for children, adolescents, and adults with SMI, SED, and SUD.
• Develops service plans and prescribes medications following organizational policies.
• Performs patient history screenings, risk assessments, and orders tests as indicated.
• Maintains timely, HIPAA-compliant documentation of services.
• Consults with Lead Medical Officer on complex cases.
• Promotes quality patient care and ensures regular follow-ups for med refills.
• Collaborates with clinicians and community services as needed.
• Maintains flexible hours; may work in outpatient, school, or other settings.
