Job summary

Hard Rock Cafe Philadelphia is seeking a dedicated Outlet Sous Chef to be the second in command in the cafe kitchen, reporting to the Kitchen Manager and/or Executive Chef. The role ensures food quality and service speed meet brand standards and supports senior leadership in maintaining brand values.

You will supervise line cooks, contribute to menu execution, and help develop a highly capable hourly team focused on guest satisfaction and continuous improvement in kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist in the preparation and design of all food orders.
• Maintain the highest standards of brand, local health, safety, and food preparation hygiene.
• Support the team in consistent execution of all systems and processes to deliver products and services to brand.
• Foster an environment of customer service where the guest comes first in every interaction.
• Fill in for the Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager when necessary.
• Develop, implement, and execute learning and development programs for Heart of House employees to drive continuous improvement.

In addition, the Sous Chef ensures that Hard Rock culinary standards are upheld: the food looks good and is cooked properly, the proportions are correct, and it is cooked and served quickly.
