Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated restaurant server to assist the Outlet Manager and servers at The Historic Cavalier Hotel and Beach Club in Virginia Beach, delivering stellar guest service in a welcoming dining environment.

You will help maintain a clean, organized service area, coordinate with bartenders and kitchen staff, and ensure timely beverage and course service while upholding HEI's standards of hospitality and guest care.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs with/without accommodation.
• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and team.
• Willingness to work regular shifts.

Responsibilities

• Clear dirty tables and reset service ware quickly.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations.
• Serve beverages, bread and butter and replenish as needed.
• Transport dirty tableware to the dishwashing area.
• Follow attendance rules and be available for shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
