Job summary

Wayfair is hiring a Sales Associate for our Outlet retail store in Chandler, AZ. The starting flat rate for this role is $17.50/hour, with room to grow with tenure, and 20 hours per week.

As an authentic brand ambassador, you will greet customers, assist at the cash wrap, participate in receiving and replenishment, and uphold Wayfair’s standards in a fast-paced environment. Store hours are Mon-Sat 10AM-8PM, Sun 10AM-7PM, with scheduling flexibility and background check completion.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred, but open to entry-level.
• Strong organization, self-motivation, communication and relationship management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced and changing environment.
• Technical acumen to learn necessary software.
• Associates are expected to have availability to meet the needs of the business.
• All employees will be expected to represent the brand through polished communication, personal appearance and professionalism.
• Able to speak, read and comprehend English to ensure your safety and the safety of those working around you.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they walk in the store
• Assist at the cash wrap as needed
• Participate in operational aspects of the store, including receiving and replenishment
• Exemplify a positive and professional attitude
• Engage in a high energy, focused and dynamic work environment
• Support launch efforts with set-up responsibilities such as unloading trucks, moving and unpacking boxes, building furniture, stocking shelves and cleaning
• Follow all company policies and Wayfair standards
