Job summary

Tommy Bahama in Seattle is seeking a Manager of Outlet Merchandising to lead all outlet merchandising decisions, pricing, transfers, and outlet-only programs (SMU). You will work with Inventory, Design, Production and Wholesale to drive high-margin, low-risk assortments and achieve sales and margin budgets.

Responsibilities include monitoring performance against the financial budget, developing seasonal line plans, determining buys by style/color/size, setting promotions and pricing in POS,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• 8+ years of retail merchandise, financial planning, or business analytics experience.
• Outstanding technical skills including MS Office.
• Demonstrates initiative, is conscientious and provides complete follow-through on all areas of responsibility.
• Able to build and maintain productive relationships with cross-functional teams.
• Effective negotiation and influencing skills with both peers and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance against Outlet Financial Budget and adjust triggers to ensure we meet our budget.
• Develop a seasonal line plan with Design, Production, Wholesale to create high-margin, low-risk SMU products.
• Determine buys for SMU product by style/color/size.
• Set weekly promotions and pricing strategies for the Outlet and ensure their execution in the POS.
• Provide merchandising, signage, promotion, pricing guidance to Retail Ops.
