Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Southern Indiana in Indianapolis is seeking an Outlet Associate to support outlet leadership by performing cashiering, donation handling, and front‑of‑house duties.

You will rotate bins, move furniture, sort recyclables, and provide high-level customer service in a safety-focused environment; daily quotas apply. This part-time role offers $15 per hour at 6650 W Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46241, with benefits and opportunities to cross-train.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of warehouse processes including receiving, putaway, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Excellent communication across oral, written, and digital channels.
• Strong customer focus with ability to satisfy internal and external customers.
• Solid mathematical aptitude with money, weights, and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Rings up customer orders and handles cash following procedures and protocols.
• Maintains cleanliness of the sales floor and supports merchandise organization.
• Safely moves priced furniture to the sales floor and presents it orderly.
• Assists customers with furniture carry-out and donation drop-off.
• Rotates commodity bins and sorts items appropriately on the floor.
• Cross-trains across outlet functions as needed.
• Sorts recyclable items and labels bins correctly in back areas.
• Notifies leadership of any money, cards, weapons, or suspicious items found.
• Maintains backroom organization and uses equipment as required.
