Qualifications

• No degree required; demonstrates capability through prior experience.
• Knowledge of warehouse processes including receiving, putaway, storage, picking, packing and shipping.
• Strong communication skills across oral, written, visual and non-verbal channels.
• Customer-focused approach ensuring satisfaction of internal and external customers.
• Numerical aptitude for handling money, weights and measures in daily tasks.
• Reasoning ability to apply common sense to instructions and problems.

Responsibilities

• Rings up customer orders and maintains cash handling procedures.
• Maintains cleanliness of the sales floor and arranges furniture in an orderly way.
• Accepts donations and educates customers on promotions and rewards program.
• Sorts and bins commodity items; moves items to designated areas.
• Loads/unloads trucks and operates equipment like pallet jacks and balers as needed.
• Meets daily production/quality quotas and updates production sheets.
• Keeps backroom organized with labeled boxes and orderly spaces.
• Assists with customer furniture carry-out and donation processes.
• Maintains orderly donation door and educates customers on promotions.
