Job summary

ArborMetrics is seeking a Work Planner to join our team for outdoor vegetation management work. You will drive to sites, inspect vegetation, and record data using tablets and forestry software, ensuring safety and accuracy in daily tasks.

Applicants should have GIS experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in varying weather and terrain. Training and certifications opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work independently outdoors.
• Good problem solving and multi-tasking abilities; attention to detail.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and variable outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report safety hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions.
• Drive safely to work sites and hike Rights-of-Way up to 10 miles a day; document vegetation work.
• Record vegetation data using tablets and specialized software; use forestry systems for data entry and tracking.
• Address customer concerns and communicate effectively with leadership, auditors, clients, contractors, landowners, and the public.
• Participate in storm and emergency response duties; carry out additional duties as assigned.
