Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Safe driving history meeting company requirements.
• Ability to drive automatic-transmission vehicles.
• Ability to climb ladders up to 16 feet.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and repeatedly enter and exit vehicles.
• Willingness to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Careful attention to vehicle safety and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Drive new vehicles off railcars safely and carefully.
• Inspect vehicles for visible damage before and after movement.
• Follow designated unloading routes and parking instructions.
• Maintain safe spacing between vehicles.
• Climb railcar ladders and work at heights up to 16 feet.
• Enter and exit vehicles repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Follow company and customer safety procedures.
• Report vehicle damage, equipment problems, and unsafe conditions immediately.
• Work with team members to meet daily unloading requirements.
• Keep vehicles clean and protected from preventable damage.
