Job summary

Road & Rail Services is hiring Vehicle Handlers to move newly manufactured vehicles through our automotive operations. You will unload automobiles from railcars and transport them to designated areas, following safety protocols and PPE requirements.

This is an active outdoor role requiring climbing ladders and continuous movement in a rail and automotive environment; no CDL is required, and work occurs in varied weather conditions. Training and long-term career opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate passenger vehicles.
• Reliability with attendance and punctuality.
• Safety-first mindset and PPE usage.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Unload new automobiles from railcars safely.
• Drive vehicles to staging or parking areas.
• Follow traffic patterns and safety requirements.
• Perform basic visual checks for damage.
• Enter and exit multiple vehicles during shift.
• Maintain spacing between vehicles and crews.
• Climb railcar ladders and work around equipment.
• Report hazards and safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Support additional vehicle-handling tasks as needed.
