Job summary

Pick Your Part is seeking an entry to mid-level yard worker to perform outdoor vehicle preparation tasks at our West Palm Beach location. You will drain fluids and remove parts from salvage vehicles, prep them for yard placement, and assist with staging and moving vehicles as needed.

The role requires basic mechanical aptitude, the ability to work in varied weather, and a willingness to operate forklifts or loaders when necessary. Weekend availability is a plus, with safety and PPE mandatory.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge to perform relatively simple outdoor yard tasks.
• Ability to cooperate with others and follow directions.

• Ability to work variable schedules, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform outdoor work in the yard, draining fluids and removing parts from vehicles to prep for yard setting.
• Remove fluids, lubricants, and components safely to prep vehicles for yard setting.
• Handle and move vehicle parts such as quarter panels, doors, hoods, axles and suspension pieces.
• Record accurate information on vehicles set and maintain orderly yard records.
• May operate a forklift or loader to move vehicles between areas.
• Dismantle tires and clean debris from vehicles before processing.
