Job summary

Pick Your Part Southeast LLC is seeking a Yard/Labor Associate to dismantle vehicles outdoors and prep them for yard placement. You will drain fluids, remove parts, and record vehicle data accurately while adhering to safety rules.

Responsibilities include forklift operation when needed, cleaning debris, handling batteries, and maintaining a clean, compliant work area under EPA/OSHA guidelines. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• General knowledge and ability to perform relatively simple work.
• Must be able to work in cooperation with others.
• Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with others.
• Must have the flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Work outdoors in the yard dismantling vehicles and prepping for yard placement.
• Drain fluids and remove components as required in a safe manner.
• Remove parts from salvage cars (e.g., quarter panels, doors, lids, hoods, axles).
• Set vehicles in the yard and record information accurately.
• May operate a forklift or loader to move vehicles.
• Clean debris and prepare batteries for testing/s resale.
• Follow PPE, EPA and OSHA regulations and company policies.
