Job summary

Pick Your Part is seeking a hardworking individual for outdoor yard work and vehicle dismantling in Daytona Beach. You will drain fluids and remove parts from salvage vehicles, recording information and ensuring proper staging in the yard.

Responsibilities include operating a forklift if trained, maintaining a clean work area, and complying with EPA and OSHA regulations while wearing PPE. Flexibility with weekends and shift schedules is required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or GED desired.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to cooperate with others and follow instructions.
• Must communicate clearly and work safely with tools and vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle and remove fluids, lubricants and components from vehicles.
• Assist in removing parts from salvage cars including panels, doors, hoods, axles and suspension pieces.
• Record information about vehicles set or moved in the yard.
• Operate a forklift or loader if trained and required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with EPA and OSHA regulations.
• Wear required PPE and follow company policies.
• Assist with staging vehicles and moving them to the yard as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
