Job summary

Pick Your Part Southeast LLC is seeking a full-time yard associate to perform outdoor work in the vehicle salvage yard, draining fluids and removing parts from vehicles to prepare them for placement in the yard.

The role involves dismantling components, recording vehicle information, and potentially operating a forklift or loader to move vehicles. You will ensure EPA and OSHA compliance and maintain a safe, clean work environment while collaborating with teammates.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work assignments.
• Able to communicate effectively with others.
• Flexible to work variable schedules, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle vehicles and remove components as required.
• Record information on vehicles moved and set in the yard.
• Operate forklift or loader to assist in moving vehicles as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and comply with EPA/OSHA regulations.
• Dismantle tires and prepare vehicles for processing.
• Assist with staging vehicles in the yard with loaders.
• Wear required PPE and follow company policies.
• Support continuous improvement of the quality system.
