USIC, America's leader in underground utility damage prevention, is seeking field locators for daytime, full-time work. You will locate utilities, mark locations, document and photograph each locate in diverse outdoor environments.

A training program is provided and advancement opportunities exist. Requirements include the ability to work outdoors, pass a drug screen, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Able to read, understand, and reference locate tickets, maps and prints.
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and efficiently, marking the location.
• Complete necessary documentation and photograph each locate.
• Workdays are daytime, full-time with overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Thoroughly search designated areas and record findings for ticketing systems.
