Job summary

USIC is hiring for an outdoor locator role focused on safely locating and marking underground utilities. You will work in the field using a company vehicle, complete documentation, and photograph each locate. No prior locating experience is required, though experience is a plus.

Expect 100% paid training, a company-issued vehicle and fuel card, and paid holidays; overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts are possible based on demand.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology and maps/tickets.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive role).
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities (telecommunications, electric, gas, water, sewer).
• Mark locations accurately and document each locate; photograph as required.
• Review locate tickets and maps; communicate with team and customers.
