Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC is seeking individuals for daytime, full-time locator roles. You will locate underground utilities in designated areas, using company vehicles and field-based work.

The job requires safety awareness, ability to work overtime, and willingness to travel with a 48-hour turnaround in many locates. We offer 100% paid training, a company vehicle with fuel card, and comprehensive benefits, plus opportunities for advancement through the CPP program and an employee recognition

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Able to work in a confined space; lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to distinguish colors used to identify wiring and mark underground utilities.
• Able to read, understand, and reference locate tickets, as well as maps and prints.
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and efficiently, including telecom, electric, gas, water, and sewer systems.
• Thoroughly search designated areas, accurately mark locations, complete documentation, and photograph each locate.
