Job summary

USIC seeks outdoor locators to locate and mark underground utilities across designated areas using a company-provided vehicle. You will document each locate with notes and photographs, ensuring accuracy and safety in every assignment.

No prior locating experience is required, but you must be safety-focused, able to lift up to 75 lbs, possess a valid driver’s license, and be willing to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts. Training is fully paid.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology and field tools.
• Clear communication with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and efficiently in designated areas.
• Mark locations on maps and complete required documentation; photograph each locate.
• Operate a company vehicle, work overtime/weekends/on-call shifts as needed.
