Job summary

USIC is seeking field locators to locate and mark underground utilities using company vehicles and equipment. You will work outdoors in varying conditions, comply with safety standards, and complete detailed locate tickets with photographs.

We offer paid training, a company vehicle, a per-payday pay option, and a comprehensive benefits package. Overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities quickly, safely, and accurately.
• Search designated areas to identify and map utilities.
• Document and photograph each locate and complete required forms.
• Communicate findings clearly to teammates, contractors, and homeowners.
