Job summary

ELM Utility Services is seeking a Utility Locate Technician in Flower Mound, TX. You will work outdoors with a company-provided vehicle to locate and mark underground utilities, following DOT-safety requirements and using the latest LaunchPoint software.

Wages start at $22.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience. The role requires passing pre-employment screens, a valid driver’s license, and a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test, background check, and MVR.
• High School Diploma or GED and 18+ years old.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Work independently outdoors with a company-provided vehicle as your mobile office, completing a route of locate requests each day.
• Locate and mark underground utilities using marking paint, flags, and sometimes whiskers, safely and accurately.
• Use the mobile work system to receive daily tasks.
• Must be able to work on-call rotation and overtime, including nights and weekends as needed.
