Job summary

ELM Utility Services in Flower Mound, TX, is hiring a Utility Locate Technician to mark gas, electric, and telecom lines outdoors using paint and flags. You’ll drive a company vehicle and follow daily locate routes, using LaunchPoint software to record tasks and communicate with the team.

This is a safety-sensitive DOT role with potential on-call and overtime. Starting pay is $22.00–$30.00 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment drug test, MVR, and background check required.
• Safety-Sensitive DOT position must comply with Federal DOT regulations.
• High School Diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Work independently outdoors with company vehicle and complete a route of locate requests.
• Accurately locate and mark underground utilities using paint, flags, and whiskers.
• Utilize the mobile work system to receive daily tasks.
• May be required to work on-call rotation and overtime, including nights/weekends.
