Job summary

ELM Utility Services is seeking a Utility Locate Technician in the Arlington, Texas area. You will work outdoors with a company vehicle to locate and mark underground utilities, ensuring safe excavation and dependable service.

LaunchPoint software is used to optimize tasks, and the position offers a range of benefits. Typical hours are 24.00–30.00 USD per hour depending on experience, with opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment drug test, MVR, and background check required.
• Must comply with DOT safety-sensitive regulations.
• Must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Complete a route of locate requests daily using a company-provided vehicle.
• Accurately locate and mark underground utilities using marking paint, flags, or whiskers.
• Use the mobile work system to receive daily tasks.
• On-call rotation and overtime including nights and weekends as needed.
