Davey Tree Surgery Co. is seeking a Utility Line Clearance climber/trimmer to join our on-site team in Rutland, VT. You’ll climb trees using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS systems and perform pruning and removal for major electric utility providers while working safely with the crew.

Starting pay is $28.00 per hour, with travel up to 25% and opportunities for overtime. The role requires a valid driver's license and line clearance experience; CDL-A/B and related licenses are preferred.

Competenze

• Love of the outdoors.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.
• REQUIRED: valid driver’s license
• Preferred: Commercial Driver’s License-Class A or B with Airbrake Endorsement
• REQUIRED: line clearance experience or other related tree work
• Preferred: relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law

Mansioni

• Climb trees for pruning and removal using DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS systems.
• Perform pruning and removal for major electric utility providers.
• Prune treetops and remove damaged trees.
• Remove broken limbs from utility lines, roofs, and other objects.
• Apply tree identification knowledge and pruning guidelines.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
• Work as an active crew member with ground crew and foreperson.
