Job summary

ACRT, Inc. seeks a Consulting Utility Forester in Boise, ID to inspect and evaluate vegetation along utility lines, report findings with recommendations, and coordinate line clearance crews. The role requires coordination with clients and crews, and strong communication skills.

Ideal candidates have 1 year in utility vegetation management, forestry degree, ISA Arborist credential, and GIS/data tools experience. Domestic travel and flexible scheduling may apply.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Utility Vegetation Management or related field
• 2- or 4-year degree in Forestry/Natural Resources preferred
• ISA Certified Arborist certification preferred
• TRAQ certification preferred
• Proficiency with GIS data collection software/hardware preferred

Responsibilities

• Identify, inspect, and evaluate trees and brush along utility lines
• Submit inspection results with recommendations to clients
• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of line clearance crews
• Discuss and negotiate access issues with stakeholders
• Liaise between clients, tree crews, and customers
