Qualifications

• Degree in forestry or related field with 2+ years utility line clearance experience.
• ISA Certified Arborist/Utility Specialist within first year.
• Knowledge of utility line clearance concepts and tree growth rates.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to travel and work in rugged terrain and inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Contact property owners and public agencies about pruning/removals.
• Conduct tree and brush inventories.
• Perform hazard tree inspections and evaluations.
• Plan work for tree contractors.
• Gather field data and ensure data accuracy across databases.
• Ensure safety of employees and the public; enforce on-the-job safety.
• Service trucks and equipment; keep organized.
