Eocene Environmental Group, Inc. is seeking a Contract Utility Forester to support vegetation management for electric utilities across regional sites.

You will conduct tree inventories, hazard assessments, and planning with contractors, while prioritizing safety and compliance. The role requires forestry degree or related field and 2+ years' utility line clearance experience; GIS data collection and field navigation skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in forestry or related field.
• Two+ years of utility line clearance experience.
• Strong species identification and invasive species knowledge.
• Proficient in map navigation and GIS data collection.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contact property owners and public agencies about pruning/removals.
• Conduct tree and brush inventories.
• Perform hazard tree inspections and evaluations.
• Plan work for tree contractors and crews.
• Ensure safety and enforce on-the-job practices.
