Eocene Environmental Group, Inc. seeks a Contract Utility Forester to manage vegetation and support safe power delivery across diverse landscapes.

The role is field-based, working directly with utility clients, property owners, and contractors to implement pruning and removals in line clearance projects. We value integrity, safety, and growth, offering an ESOP, company vehicle for work use, generous PTO, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Degree in forestry or related field and at least 2 years in utility line clearance.
• Proficient in species identification and invasive species knowledge.
• Ability to read maps, collect data, and communicate with stakeholders clearly.
• Valid driver's license with clean record and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Contact property owners and public agencies regarding pruning or removals.
• Conduct tree and brush inventories and hazard inspections.
• Plan work for tree contractors and coordinate field data collection.
• Validate data across databases and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Ensure safety practices and protect employees and the public.
• Operate and service trucks and equipment; maintain neat work sites.
• Travel to job sites and work in rugged terrain and varying weather.
• Assist with data management and GIS-related tasks as needed.
• Support project teams and maintain good customer relations.
